Earth tower made from the old Lake Biwako soilThe architecture made from cutting local bamboo, collecting local soils from the old Lake Biwa Formation. Walls are plastered soils, and the roof is woven bamboo.
we 11° design gather many participants from all over the Japan, suporting by local construction company, and over 800 people are in the construction in 8 years.

It was completed in 2003, the third year, and after that, until when the land contract was terminated at 2008, the figure was changed while various measures were taken. During that time, it was used as a salon and became a place where various workshops and conferences were held.
